Thanks for the GREAT SKI Season.

2017 Tentative schedule

Now let's have some more FUN this SUMMER!

July 30 -  Horseback Riding
We will go on a 1.5 hour trail ride. After the trail ride, we can go on a 40-minute wagon ride. We have to be at the stable by 9:15 to 9:30 a.m. so we can fill out forms and get ready.
After the ride, we can make our own lunch. We can bring our own barbeque grill(s) and cook our own food. They have picnic tables we can use.
The stable is located in Spring Grove north of Chicago, and south of the Illinois, Wisconsin border. From the intersection of State and Madison in downtown Chicago, it would take one hour eighteen minutes to drive there.
The cost of a hour and a half trail ride is $54. Depending on how many people show up, we can get a $3 discount per person. The cost of the wagon ride is $10 per person.
On the trail ride, the horses will walk.
Let me know if you need a ride to get to the stable.
RSVP NO later than July 25.

“Honestly...I cry every time I watch the clips. That weekend will be kept in my memory as one of my favorites! “

Watch this site for more information on our upcoming season activities, our ski schedule, and other fun events throughout the year. Everyone is welcome. You can guide, or ski, or just volunteer your time and talents. Learn how you can volunteer to help out.

Contact ABSF if you would like to volunteer as a ski guide and help to show some other visually impaired people that skiing is too fun not to do just because you can’t see well!
