November 18 -*Pizza Party *

Please join ABSF as we kick-off the season by renewing old friendships and reaching out to prospective new skiers and guides. Join us at the Exchequer Pub in downtown Chicago on Saturday, November 18th from 4 pm to 7pm. Food and soft drinks will be provided by ABSF. Other drinks are available at a reasonable cost. For planning purposes we need to get a good count of likely attendance, so please use the ABSF website “Event Schedule” link to sign up to attend the pizza party. You can also renew your ABSF membership online when you visit our website.

The Exchequer is located at 226 S. Wabash, under the “L” tracks. All CTA subway and elevated lines pass within a block or two and major train stations are within walking distance. If you need assistance with directions or getting to the Exchequer please contact Joe Ferrick at (32) 718-1040 or via email at Joeyxboat1@gmail.com.

If you are interested in guiding, come to the party.

“Honestly...I cry every time I watch the clips. That weekend will be kept in my memory as one of my favorites! “

Watch this site for more information on our upcoming season activities, our ski schedule, and other fun events throughout the year. Everyone is welcome. You can guide, or ski, or just volunteer your time and talents. Learn how you can volunteer to help out.

Contact ABSF if you would like to volunteer as a ski guide.  Help show some new visually impaired people, that skiing is much to fun, not to do, just because you can’t see well!
