ABSF Membership
Whether you are an experienced skier or want to try skiing or snowboarding for the first time, take the step to join ABSF. ABSF sponsors numerous day trips to Wilmot Mountain and Alpine Valley. There are also weekend trips to other local ski resorts within the Midwest. ABSF also holds one Western trip in the spring of each year.
The fun starts when everyone gets out on the slopes, but it does not end there—from there on, you are connected with a great community you can keep returning to for years to come!
Those interested in learning to guide blind/VI individuals are welcome to register. An annual ABSF clinic is sponsored for skiers and snowboarder guides, both experienced and new to the organization. This clinic is scheduled each year as the first ski event for the season. If you are a guide wanting to join, please contact us for more information.
ABSF membership is available for individuals and families, and it includes discounts on lift tickets, equipment rental, lodging, and transportation.
The 2025 membership fee for individuals is $25 (or $20 if you sign up for a recurring annual subscription)
The 2025 membership fee for families is $40 (or $20 if you sign up for a recurring annual subscription)
To become a member or to have your entire family become members, please do ONE of the following:
Complete your registration and purchase your membership online (scroll down for step-by-step instructions).
OR
Complete your registration manually and make a check payable to ABSF (return it to the address indicated on the paper form. If you would like to pay by cash and complete your membership form online, please indicate cash payment under notes (scroll down to step 2 to download the paper version of the membership registration form).
In addition, each returning and new member MUST complete a liability waiver form before participating in any ABSF ski event.
